Poetry

Our learning goal:

What: We are learning to gather ideas to write a variety of poems about various social issues.

How: Gathering ideas by researching, reading, annotating, and analyzing poems.

Why:

Deeper Thinking with teacher and student annotation. As you read your new poem(s), ask yourself the following questions to help you with your annotation:

WHAT DO YOU NOTICE? WHAT DO YOU WONDER?
